Privacy Policy

Last updated 31 August 2026. Short version: the calculators send nothing anywhere, and the only data collected is what Google collects to host and serve this site.

What the calculators do with your input — nothing. Every calculator on this site is client-side JavaScript. The dimensions, prices and figures you type are processed in your own browser and are never sent to a server, never logged and never stored. Closing the tab discards them. There is no account system, no contact form and no database on this site.

Hosting and analytics. This site is hosted on Blogger, a Google service. Google collects standard usage data for hosting and abuse prevention — including IP address, browser and device information, referring pages and pages visited — and sets cookies to do so. That collection is Google's, governed by the Google Privacy Policy, and this site's operator sees only aggregate visit statistics through Blogger's built-in reporting.

Advertising. This site does not currently display advertising. If advertising is added in future, this policy will be updated before it goes live to describe the ad provider, the cookies involved and how to opt out. Google's use of advertising cookies can be managed at Google Ads Settings, and further options are available at aboutads.info.

Cookies. The cookies on this site come from Blogger and Google, not from the calculators. You can block or delete them in your browser settings; the calculators will continue to work normally without them.

Third-party links. Pages here link to manufacturer data sheets, code references and government sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

Children. This site is aimed at construction and design professionals and is not directed at children under 13. No personal information is knowingly collected from them.

Your rights. Because this site collects nothing directly, there is generally nothing here to access, correct or delete — there is no record of you to hold. The usage data described above is collected and controlled by Google, so access, correction and deletion requests should be made to Google through your Google Account or the Google Privacy Policy.

Reaching the operator. If a calculator on this site gives a wrong answer, or a cited constant no longer matches its source, please say so — corrections are the whole point of the site. Use the contact form or leave a comment. No email address is published here, and none is collected from you.

Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Material changes — in particular the introduction of advertising — will be made here before the change takes effect.
